So for two weeks I've been exercising. Since I hit 30, I've been getting chubby. I'm two weeks into what I hope is a change of lifestyle, but I won't lie, I'm sore and miserable. I'm so out of shape. I joined a gym which I never imagined I would do.
Anyone else workout?
I know Diaz is a Ninja runner, & I think Rhu may be too.

i dont but need to.
in the mid 90's i did a lot of different martial arts (tae kwon do, kali filipino martial arts, jiu jitsu, & thai kick boxing. but after awhile touring & recording w/ the violets got in the way & i stopped.
the fat slowly crept up on me. once i started working from home & discovered world of warcraft, it was all down hill.
ive slowly been sizing down my food portions & lift weights but not enough to make a dent.
now that 40 is coming around in april i know if i dont do something now it will only get worse.
good for you green. keep that shit up. theres nothing worse than seeing the MOUNTAIN of pounds one must loose @ my current weight.

I need to work out and eat better, but I don't. I started doing stuff just at home like push ups and sit ups, but after a couple of weeks I lost interest. I need to be healthier, I did quit smoking a while back, but I eat garbage food all the time. My diet is primarily pizza, pizza, pizza and cheeseburgers w/ fries thrown in once in a while. Makes me want a pizza just thinking about it!

Sunday night = week four. I can't tell if I'm sliming down, but I am staying active & consistent. I had my 1st brews in weeks tonight & I did okay without them so maybe things are looking up.
Renee & I went out to dinner tonight & I ate a lot of heavy things without feeling the mental pressure of wandering what it is doing to my body. I've been eating light so I had more of a "rewards" mentality.
I haven't yet weighed myself because I'm waiting for someone I haven't seen in awhile to tell me I'm sliming down. Then, I'll see how far I've came. The last time I weighed myself, I was 230 lbs, I'm supposed to be around 197 lbs. My goal was 200 lbs even.

Lost 8lbs. I'm now 222lbs...22 more until I reach my goal!
