loved the campuzano and hammock interviews...two of my favourite artists of all time, really...both in the same issue. I'm bummed out about the lassie news but not surprised...at least he is still making music in other ways, though. byrd is always cool in interviews. very cool! thanks!!

yeah I've learned more about cupie in this interview and that other recent recorded phone interview than in the last 15 or so years that I've been listening to the guy's music! haha... nice work.

Oh yeah, I meant to put a link to that podcast with Cupie...crap! Anyone here like the new Subdivision bands? We reviewed all of them except Leslie, waiting to review her in the next issue. Subdivision bands go great with headphones...I like every single one of them, great stuff!

Aren't you going to pimp the new issue Steve? downthelinezine.com/I've never actually listened to Jimmy A's solo stuff, but I've heard a little bit of Vector. Interesting group collab he has in the works. I still like John Mark Painter and some of Steve Taylor's stuff, but I'm not sure about Peter Furler (hmmm). Also, did you know Jimmy A is Jemina Pearl's father? I just found out a little over a year ago. downthelinezine.com/

Also, did you know Jimmy A is Jemina Pearl's father? I just found out a little over a year ago. downthelinezine.com/I didn't even realize until last night that this one was out I've been silly busy. The only part I don't like of the collaboration is Peter Furler, but I'm sure he's a decent drummer. I've heard some of the tracks and I think it is the best stuff Taylor has done, definitely the best since Chagall Guevara...it is really fun stuff! I'm a big Vector fan, they just had a fun sound...Jimmy A.'s first solo album Entertaining Angels is my favorite thing by him, it was cool from the art all the way down to the music and lyrics. It is no longer for sale unfortunately, but there are still copies of his Secrets album floating around. There isn't any CCM-ish type music that I listen to at all except for Rich Mullins...he was such an interesting guy that was really deep into this quest for truth. The more you know bout him as a person, the more I found this really deep respect for him. When The Ragamuffin Band came out with Jimmy A. I was immediately taken with every aspect...I miss Rich Mullin's voice...I think he was a really gifted guy with a poet's heart and as big as he was in the CCM scene, he was willing to stand up for what was right whether it was theological or the shit business side of the industry. There are some really cool stories to tell about that guy, and he died doing what he loved.
